How did we end up here? BC gives zeros fvcks about the fast paced East Coast life and would much rather grab their paddle board or yoga mat, light up and be one with nature. Nude beaches are just par for the course.

Wreck Beach takes pride in its designation as one of the best nude beaches; in the summer, Wreck Beach plays host to a number of fun, nude beach events, including the annual Bare Buns Run and the "world-record" skinny dipping event.
Vancouver has some amazing beaches. Wreck Beach is located right at the edge of UBC, just a short but very steep walk down from the Museum of Anthropology. It truly is a steep walk down, but there are stairs all the way — and lots of them.

The quiet Lions Bay outcrop of gravel and rocks has been a nudist hangout for maybe 40 or 50 years, one nudist estimated. There is practically no parking and you have to trespass across train tracks — and sometimes crawl under parked train cars. Yet Brunswick was recently overwhelmed with visitors, their cars parked dangerously on the highway interchange, said Lions Bay Mayor Karl Buhr.

The clothing-optional section is clearly marked with signs and stretches approximately 6. The shoreline throughout these beaches is mainly rocky with some sandy stretches with fewer beach-goers. An area is provided for owners to have their dogs off leash. During the smelt season, naturists share this area with declothed fishers and their families.
